Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is hiring for seasonal cashier roles to support peak holiday demand. You will greet customers, handle purchases at the POS, and provide helpful assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience. Training will cover promotions, club memberships, and in-store pickup procedures.

Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds; prior customer service or retail experience is a plus. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.75 per hour, with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers promptly and friendly.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions with product recommendations.
• Promote store programs (CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pick-up).
• Stock shelves and keep area tidy when not at POS.
