Crate & Barrel in New York is seeking Seasonal Cashiers to deliver warm, efficient service at the register, help customers dream up gift baskets, and keep the cash wrap neat and welcoming. You’ll be part of a team led by Assistant Store Leaders and Team Leaders who keep spirits high and the fun flowing.

As a seasonal team member you will process orders quickly through the POS, handle payments, communicate current promotions, support with merchandising, and assist customers with questions while

Qualificações

• Customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and surrounding Christmas.
• Part-time availability for two or more weekend days plus at least one weekday or night.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales by quickly, efficiently, and accurately processing orders through the POS.
• Meet CBH Credit Card and email capture metrics as assigned by leaders.
• Respond to customer questions in a professional and respectful manner.
• Process payments as outlined in POS training.
• Communicate promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and initiatives to customers.
• Wrap or bag orders and keep the cash wrap neat and stocked.
• Support store leadership in profitability and operational excellence.
• Ensure products and displays on the sales floor are stocked and available.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to engage customers and associates.

A day in the life as a Seasonal Cashier…

• Drive sales through quickly, efficiently, and accurately processing customers’ orders through the POS (point of sale) system.
• Responsible for meeting CBH Credit Card (CBHCC) and email capture metrics as assigned by leaders.
• Respond to customer questions in a professional and respectful manner.
• Process payments as outlined in the POS training.
• Communicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Wrap and/or bag customers’ orders with care; maintain a neat and safe cash wrap. Ensure cash wraps are fully stocked with supplies.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Assist with ensuring products and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Execute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.

• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving AND the days surrounding Christmas
