Job summary

Crate and Barrel Beverly Hills is hiring Seasonal Cashiers to deliver an engaging in-store experience. You will quickly and accurately process customer orders at the POS, answer questions, and promote promotions while maintaining a neat, welcoming cash wrap.

This seasonal role is part-time and requires weekend availability after Thanksgiving and around Christmas. Join our store team to help guests dream up gifts, with support from leadership and a fun, flexible holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work the weekend after Thanksgiving and the days surrounding Christmas
• Part-Time roles: Availability to work two or more weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday) and at least one weekday or night

Responsibilities

• Process orders quickly, accurately at the POS system
• Meet CBH Credit Card and email capture metrics as assigned
• Respond to customer questions professionally
• Process payments per POS training
• Communicate promotions, offers, loyalty programs to customers
• Wrap/bag orders; keep cash wrap stocked and neat
• Support store leadership in profitability and operational excellence
• Assist with stocking products and displays on the sales floor
• Maintain visual merchandising standards to engage customers and associates

A day in the life as a Seasonal Cashier…

• Drive sales through quickly, efficiently, and accurately processing customers' orders through the POS (point of sale) system.
• Responsible for meeting CBH Credit Card (CBHCC) and email capture metrics as assigned by leaders.
• Respond to customer questions in a professional and respectful manner.
• Process payments as outlined in the POS training.
• Communicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customers.
• Wrap and/or bag customers' orders with care; maintain a neat and safe cash wrap. Ensure cash wraps are fully stocked with supplies.
• Lead by example and support store leadership in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellence.
• Assist with ensuring products and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchase.
• Execute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.
