Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers for pre-operative and post-operative patients.

You will assess patient status during admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care in the medical record, administer prescribed medications, and maintain current knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• RN license and nursing degree/diploma are required

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response, maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care
