Job summary

See’s Candies is seeking a Quality Inspector in Daly City to ensure weight, appearance and overall quality across manufacturing, packing and logistics. You will inspect raw materials, verify date order in packing, and support investigations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (Ross, Safety Chain), strong organization and communication, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to utilize quality assurance and warehouse systems, including Ross and Safety Chain software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all teams in quality-related matters.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs safely and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks on products during manufacturing, packaging, and logistics stages to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality requirements.
• Ensure proper product rotation by verifying date order during packing.
• Support quality investigations, including problem-solving and root cause analysis activities.
• Support foreperson/manager in ensuring compliance with GMP/HACCP protocols.
