Job summary

Tennessee Parks Hospitality LLC, dba Lake Sycamore-, invites you to join our Lake Sycamore team for the 2027 season as a Host. The Host role blends customer service with campground operations, including gate/check-in, housekeeping, and retail tasks.

You will often work with a partner, performing duties across maintenance, safety, and guest assistance. The position requires strong communication, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift and move equipment, in a fast-paced, outdoors

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations with guests or co-workers.
• Basic recordkeeping and money handling experience; strong math aptitude.
• Able to learn quickly, follow instructions, and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, helpful customer service and educates guests on area rules and facilities.
• Registers campers, collects fees, and sells retail items; handles reservations and inquiries.
• Operates a cash register and processes transactions; maintains logs and records revenue data.
• Verifies payment and permits; manages parking and info boards; supports safety and cleanliness duties.
• Performs evening rounds to enforce rules and inspect facilities for safety and cleanliness.
• Cleans and maintains restrooms, vault toilets, showers, and common areas according to schedule.
• Rakes, mows, and maintains trails and public areas; restocks and inventories supplies.
