Job summary

Under Canvas in Zion, Utah is seeking a Seasonal Facilities Technician to maintain and repair tents, amenities, and camp infrastructure, ensuring safety and operation for guests and team members. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical, plumbing tasks and general upkeep across multiple facilities.

The role is hourly and seasonal, with potential housing provided for the duration of employment; prior maintenance experience and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience with minimal supervision.
• Experience with plumbing, septic systems, propane systems, generators, or similar trades preferred.
• Outdoor enthusiast who can work long, flexible hours in various weather conditions.
• Team player with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Electrical Systems, Hand and Power Tools, HVAC Systems, Plumbing, Safety Standards and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs of tents, amenities, equipment, and property grounds.
• Tackle general upkeep and more technical work involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems when required.
• Maintain camp facilities, including accommodations, communal facilities, laundry, restaurants, and common areas.
• Work with Facilities team members under supervision to ensure smooth camp operations.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.
