Job summary

Revolution is seeking a Seasonal Bicycle Mechanic in Los Angeles to maintain and repair our bike-share fleet, including E-Bikes. You will perform in-workshop repairs, field service, and annual refurbishments, while keeping meticulous service records.

The role requires weekend/closing shifts and a teamwork-focused, safety-conscious mindset. Experience as a bicycle mechanic is preferred; the position is full-time seasonal through April 1, 2027, with benefits and a 4-day work week when possible.

Qualifications

• Bicycle mechanic experience preferred.
• Proven technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to repair E-Bike specific issues and basic bicycle electronics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, maintain, and repair fleet of bicycles for bike share system, including electronic pedal assist bikes.
• Complete annual refurbishments on fleet.
• Conduct monthly safety checks on fleet.
• Ride a bicycle to perform in-field repair and inspection work (2+ days/week).
• Maintain accurate service records for all work performed.
• Follow guidelines and policies for all work.
• Interact with passholders and the public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Work under supervision of the Bicycle Mechanic Manager.
