Job summary

The Salvation Army in Missouri is seeking a Christmas Seasonal Bell Ringer to serve as a friendly, positive community representative at approved kettle locations, collecting donations and promoting The Salvation Army’s presence. You will ring the bell, greet customers, wear your ID, and log hours while upholding the organization’s values.

Responsibilities include punctual attendance, maintaining a tidy work area, coordinating with the Kettle Coordinator, and following safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, respectful, honest, and punctual.
• Understand the mission and purpose of the Christmas Kettle Program.
• Able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
• Must possess good relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work on time at the assigned location.
• Stand and ring the bell at kettle stand.
• Wear proper identification given by The Salvation Army.
• Record worked hours daily on the time slip, including lunch.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Notify the Kettle Coordinator if unable to report or schedules change.
• No eating, drinking, or phone use while working.
• Keep work area clean and perform other duties as assigned.
