Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience by greeting guests, assessing needs, performing makeup applications, and guiding product selections. You will also handle cashier tasks, restock fixtures, and help run in-store events.

This role requires passion for beauty, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Training and brand education support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by providing a guest-friendly environment, greeting and engaging each guest, and recommending products and services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
