Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, perform makeup applications, and assist with in-store events and sales goals. The role emphasizes service, product knowledge, and loyalty program engagement in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position requires strong customer service skills, basic tech proficiency, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (POS, Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, answer product questions, promote promotions
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders
• Perform makeup applications and skincare analysis to drive sales and guest service
• Book appointments for and support in-store services and events
• Stay informed about products and their benefits to better serve guests
• Maintain prompt attendance and store standards
