Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, perform makeup applications, offer skincare analysis, and drive sales through knowledgeable product recommendations in a fast-paced store environment.

You will engage guests, maintain store cleanliness, support leadership, and participate in events while meeting service and sales goals. Flexible scheduling includes weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (POS system, Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals for retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, tailor service to needs, explain products and promotions, and recommend Ulta Beauty services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver exceptional guest experiences while meeting sales targets.
• Stay informed about products and ingredients to better educate guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Participate in merchandise resets, planograms, displays, inventories, and shipments using Ulta Beauty practices.
• Protect assets by following loss-prevention practices and delivering great service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.
