Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, engaging each guest to determine needs, performing makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales. You will also support in-store events and help guests navigate promotions and services on the sales floor.

Ideal candidates have a passion for beauty, at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma (preferred), and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales.
• Provide exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests and recommending products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events.
• Stay informed about new products and their ingredients to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
