Job summary

Aesop in the United States is seeking a Seasonal Retail Consultant to connect authentically with customers, tell our story, and deliver personalized skincare experiences. You will guide product demonstrations, build regimens, and help create memorable visits on the shop floor.

This is a contract position with an end date of January 16, 2027; peak availability includes weekends from November through January.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-focused retail or hospitality.
• Merchant mindset with commercial awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for selling premium skincare and fragrance.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate stairs.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers to understand needs and recommend products.
• Deliver personalized customer journeys with demonstrations and regimen building.
• Lead customers to fragrance area and demonstrate products on hand.
• Provide samples and invite return; ensure memorable departure.
• Uphold Aesop values and seek continuous improvement.
• Follow grooming guidelines and retail standards; deliver the five senses experience.
• Complete stock, inventory and store presentation tasks.
