Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, assist with cashier tasks, keep fixtures stocked, and ensure store cleanliness. The role focuses on service, sales, and in-store events, with opportunities to learn product knowledge and build lasting customer relationships.

You will greet guests, demonstrate products, book appointments, and support the leadership team while maintaining flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests, personalizing service, answering questions, informing about promotions, and recommending products.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and communicate their benefits to guests.
