Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Washington state is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences, guide product selections, and support store operations during peak seasons. You will greet guests, perform makeup applications, answer questions about promotions, assist with online orders, stock fixtures, and help with events while maintaining store cleanliness and a welcoming environment.

The role requires a high school diploma preferred and about 1 year of relevant experience;

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
• High school diploma is preferred
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals for retail and service sales, loyalty, omni-channel, and shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Greet and engage each guest, tailor service to their needs, explain promotions and upsell Ulta Beauty products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, exchanges, and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications and skincare analysis to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and support in-store events to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Stay informed on products, ingredients, and benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance and store cleanliness.
