Job summary

A local school district is seeking an Athletic Coach for various sports at the middle and high school levels. Qualifications

• Teaching certificate or retired from teaching preferred.
• Valid form of coaching certification specified through IHSA.
• Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
• Must have thorough knowledge of sport rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and instruction to student-athletes in the sport.
• Promotes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.
• Schedules practices and competitions in coordination with the athletic director.
