Job summary

VF Corporation in Visalia, CA is seeking a Highbay Driver to safely put away and retrieve incoming product in the receiving department. You will operate the Highbay Powered Industrial Truck and support safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Required are at least 2 years of related experience, ability to read truck-mounted computer instructions and MX7 handheld devices, and successful completion of safety training and field driving tests. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Highbay Driver

The primary responsibility of Highbay Driver in the receiving department is to safely put away and/or retrieveincoming product.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Maintain constant awareness and concentration concerning travel throughout the DC while operating the Highbay style Powered Industrial Truck.
• Our Highbay Drivers are expected to hold the highest level of professionalism and integrity in every action performed and are expected to use good judgement whenever necessary to ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of VF Corp, the Dickies Brand and its associates.
• This person will also have other duties as assigned by department Supervisor or shift Manager.

How youwill do it

• This person will abide by company rules, policies, and all Standard Operational Procedures and safety guidelines including: Wearing safety harness and steel toed shoes while operating Order Picker style Powered Equipment.

Success is achieved by maximizing time “on standard” to meet performance levels of 90% or higher. Reliability and predictable good attendance are also key to success in this position.

Educational

Position Requirements

• A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are mostinterested in your total experience and professional achievements.
• Experience operating Order Picker style, Powered Industrial Truck.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions on truck mount computer, handheld MX7 devices and directives given by department leadership.
• Must pass Certification Safety Training course and field driving test allowing candidate to operate an Order Picker style Powered Industrial Truck in the DC work area.

Physical Demands

• Stand and/or walk during shift between 8 to 12 hours

• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands, wrists and feet coordination for operation of Order Picker style Powered Industrial Truck
• Noise level varies and can be loud

Hiring Range

$18.79 USD - $23.49 USD per hour
