Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will greet customers, explain baby essentials, and help families prepare for school time and everyday moments.

Join a welcoming, inclusive team that values growth, training, and development opportunities. Responsibilities include assisting customers across omnichannel channels, handling POS transactions, restocking floors, and promoting promotions and loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and explain product features and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues promptly in a busy store.
• Assist with omnichannel shopping to ensure a positive experience.
• Process point-of-sale transactions accurately.
• Perform floor replenishment and assist with shipments.
• Explain promotions and the loyalty program to customers.
• Maintain a safe, clean store and minimize loss.

What you’ll do

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

• You can: Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling

• You can: Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Compensation

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.50 - $17.75 per hour based on experience and location.
