Carter’s, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll greet customers, learn our baby essentials, and help families prepare for back-to-school moments in a fast-paced retail environment.

Join an inclusive team that values caring, teamwork, and growth. You’ll provide excellent service, support omnichannel shopping, operate the register, restock floors, and help maintain a clean store. Flexible scheduling and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsabilités

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by supporting omnichannel shopping as needed for a positive experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit options.
• Minimize store loss by delivering exceptional service and keeping the store clean and safe.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers and balance a number of customers in a busy retail environment
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store

Qualities we’d love in a candidate:

• A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once

You can:

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
