Job summary

La Vie en Rose is seeking temporary, part-time team members for our Kentwood, MI store. You’ll welcome customers, explain products, and support sales goals with a friendly, proactive approach.

Ideal candidates love clothing that celebrates femininity, listen to customer needs, and are flexible for holidays and longer hours during busy periods. Previous retail experience is a plus; full training provided in-store.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
• Proactive and conscientious with a customer‑first mindset.
• Interest in fashion and knowledge of products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every customer.
• Help customers find products and answer questions.
• Assist customers in fitting rooms and at the register.
• Meet and aim to exceed personal sales goals.
• Keep the sales floor and back area clean and organized.
• Share product knowledge and upsell where appropriate.

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

TEMPORARY, PART TIME

SALARY: 13,75 $ - 16 $
