Job summary

Control Solutions LLC in Illinois is seeking an entry-level assembler to perform mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks on one or more production lines, following established procedures and strict quality standards.

You will read work instructions, conduct basic auto, stress and bench testing under direction, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while staying safety-focused and collaborative.

Qualifications

  • Some assembly or equivalent work experience (>1 year).
  • Ability to read work instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including sitting and standing, and performing repetitive motions required for proper assembly with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, carry materials up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to operate tools machinery or office equipment safely.
  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Consistently exhibit strong "soft skills" by being dependable for scheduling, willing to be flexible as need (work late, start early, swap shifts, work Saturdays), willing to volunteer for ad hoc assignments as needed, and be a positive influence on team morale (e.g. being upbeat, enthusiastic and eager to help the company).
  • Other job duties, as assigned.
