Job summary

South Carolina Aquarium is seeking an Exhibit Specialist for the AGLOW season. The role involves staging, installation, maintenance and striking of AGLOW installations throughout the Aquarium. The position requires hands-on carpentry, painting, wiring and signage hanging.

Work will support AGLOW events from mid-October through January, with hours that may extend beyond the regular schedule. This is a seasonal, hourly position in Charleston, SC.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Staging, installation, maintenance and striking of Aquarium AGLOW installations.
• Ensure exhibits and interactives are operational and safe.
• Maintain daily appearance of public spaces during the AGLOW season.
• Able to work flexible hours before/after normal business hours.
