Job summary

Colorado College is seeking a Temporary Admission Reader to support the Admission Office on a part-time, hourly schedule at Main Campus. The role involves holistic review of applications, reading recommendations and essays, and providing summary evaluations to the Admissions Committee.

This position runs October through March, totaling about 200 hours per year, with an estimated 10–15 hours per week. The anticipated starting wage is $27.00 per hour, nonexempt and eligible for standard staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of admission review experience.
• Ability to review a high volume of applications and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written communications.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and advise on holistic admission decisions.
• Review up to 150 applications per week and provide final recommendations.
• Lead team discussions to meet enrollment and diversity goals.
• Support senior leadership in fair admission decisions and equity initiatives.
