SnowWorX in Allentown-Bethlehem, PA is seeking an experienced Snow Route Supervisor / Plow Truck Operator for a small commercial route. You will drive between properties, plow and salter, and clear sidewalks as needed.

You’ll work seasonally with on-call hours, using company equipment and smartphone apps to document service and report issues. Reliable, safety-conscious candidates who can respond to storms at all hours are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a plow truck and salter on commercial properties.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record acceptable for company vehicles.
• Reliable on-call availability for the entire winter, including nights, mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to use company work-order apps on a smartphone and submit photos.

Responsibilities

• Plow parking lots, drive lanes, entrances, and designated areas on the route.
• Operate the salter and perform snow and ice service as directed.
• Shovel small sidewalks and entrances during lighter storms.
• Complete each property to company standards and report progress to dispatch.

Snow Route Supervisor / Plow Truck Operator - Allentown-Bethlehem, PA

SnowWorX | $40-$44 per hour | Seasonal, on-call

SnowWorX is recruiting an experienced, dependable snow professional for a commercial snow route in the Allentown-Bethlehem, PA area. We encourage applicants from Allentown, Bethlehem, and nearby Lehigh Valley communities to apply.

Take responsibility for an assigned route of approximately three to six smaller commercial properties, including retail and automotive service locations. You will drive between properties, operate the plow and salter, and complete limited sidewalk and entrance clearing.

What we provide

• $40-$44 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
• A new company truck equipped with a plow and salter. No personal plow truck required.
• An assigned company truck that you keep with you throughout the winter so you are ready to respond.
• A company credit card for authorized fuel and work expenses.
• Training on all company procedures, route expectations, equipment, and digital work orders.
• Additional shoveling personnel during larger storms. Minor shoveling remains part of this position.

Your responsibilities

• Plow parking lots, drive lanes, entrances, and designated areas across your assigned route.
• Operate the salter and perform snow and ice service as directed, including return visits when needed.
• Shovel small sidewalk and entrance areas during lighter storms. This is a hands-on position, and shoveling is expected.
• Complete every assigned property to company standards and communicate progress or problems to dispatch.
• Use your own smartphone to complete company job work orders, record service information, submit required photos, and communicate with the team.
• Check your assigned truck and equipment and promptly report damage or mechanical issues.

What you need

• Experience operating a plow truck and salter, preferably on commercial properties.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable for operating company vehicles.
• Reliable availability for the entire winter. You must be on call as needed for snow and ice events, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to respond when called and remain available for your assigned work during the event.
• A reliable personal smartphone with an active data plan and willingness to use company work-order apps. We provide training.
• Ability and willingness to shovel and work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Dependability, good judgment, and care for company equipment and customer properties.

Schedule

This is seasonal, weather-dependent work. Hours vary with snow and ice conditions. Full-winter on-call availability is required.
