Job summary

The Neil Jones Food Company in Hollister, CA is seeking a Seamer Mechanic Class A to rebuild, time, and adjust the Vacuum Syrupier and seamer, and to service related accessories used in the seamer area.

The role requires a strong mechanical background, able to read diagrams and schematics, perform diagnostics, and maintain an orderly work area while supporting inventory control at the San Benito Foods plant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Four-year mechanical apprenticeship or 5 years industrial seamer experience; PLC knowledge a plus.
• Ability to read diagrams/schematics; fluent English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, time, and adjust Vacuum Syrupier and seamer; work on accessories.
• Maintain an orderly work area and assist inventory control as needed.
• Support preventive maintenance and document activities.
