Job summary

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Grinder/Operator for the Bistro production room to operate and maintain the sealing machine equipment. This role helps improve line efficiencies by increasing production, reducing rework, and minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English; comprehension of basic math.
• Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold, wet, fast-paced, 24 hour plant environment.
• Eager to learn, and work as part of the team
• Ability to deliver consistent quality results through a sense of urgency and taking initiative, while also demonstrating flexibility to meet business needs.
• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑shift and post‑shift inspections for quality
• Perform basic preventative maintenance of the equipment when applicable
• Basic troubleshooting
• Observe production and monitors equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Manage and reduce waste (product giveaway) by use of scale system
• Communicate and educate other associates for the purpose of maintaining good product quality as it enters the sealing equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow and enforce the 5S Methodology including maintaining tools and equipment as defined by the 5S marking.
• Perform other duties as assigned
