Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations with focus.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work aboard boats in varying weather conditions.
• USCG MMC required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vessel power, propulsion and auxiliary systems safely.
• Monitor, repair, and perform preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Manage spares and inventories for on-board maintenance.
• Report vessel status to Chief Engineer and maintain logs.
• Create and execute daily work plans in the Vessel Management System.
• Assign tasks and assist in deckhand duties as needed.
