REGENT is developing Seagliders to revolutionize coastal transport. The Vehicle Test Engineer role focuses on planning and executing sea and air tests to advance prototypes toward reliable systems.

You’ll work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams on test plans, safety procedures, and data-driven decisions, enabling rapid iteration and real-world impact. Join a crew of engineers solving bold challenges at the intersection of marine and aerospace tech.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on engineering environments involving hardware, vehicles, instrumentation, or prototype systems.
• Experience with data acquisition, telemetry, or sensor instrumentation.
• Strong safety mindset with hazard analysis or risk management.
• Experience supporting flight, marine, robotics testing, or other vehicle programs.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of sea and air test events, preparing vehicles, test infrastructure, and instrumentation for safe operations.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and test cards with clear objectives and data needs.
• Collaborate with design, controls, structures, propulsion, and systems teams to align test objectives with engineering goals.
• Coordinate test readiness activities, including vehicle configuration checks and field logistics.
• Participate in real-time test operations, monitor telemetry, record observations, and assist troubleshooting.
