REGENT is looking for an Embedded Systems Software Engineer to contribute to our innovative Seaglider product family. The role involves developing embedded software, supporting test environments, and managing electronics and harnessing. We seek a candidate with experience in C++ programming for embedded systems, strong hands-on skills with microcontrollers, and comfort in reading electrical schematics. Qualifications
Demonstrated experience writing C++ for embedded systems - Linux, RTOS, or bare metal.
Strong hands-on experience with microcontrollers and common embedded interfaces.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
Comfortable scripting with Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.
Responsibilities
Develop, debug, and maintain real-time software for Seaglider.
Contribute to development of SIL and HIL test environment.
Set up and maintain the electronics ecosystem.
Automate build systems and streamline deployment pipelines.
Be part of the sea trials team, monitoring operation and troubleshooting.
