Winn-Dixie in Oneco, FL is seeking a Seafood Associate to provide quality seafood offerings, ensuring fresh, compliant products and delivering courteous, knowledgeable service.

You will assist in merchandising, manage inventory, support safety standards, and help customers with selections, samples, and questions. The role reinforces teamwork and adherence to regulatory requirements in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Possess adequate knife handling skills and knife speed.
• Knowledge of cutting, traying, wrapping, and labeling.
• Proficient with computer applications used in effectively operating the department.

Responsabilités

• Creates an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated that will increase customer confidence and loyalty.
• Ensures the department is merchandised per plan and meets product availability, freshness, quality and value.
• Offers product samples, answers product questions and assists customers in finding or suggesting products.
• Ensures customer requests and special orders are fulfilled.
• Promotes teamwork and shares information to meet merchandising, sales and profit goals.
• Manages schedules to maintain high levels of customer service during peak hours.
• Follows safety, wage, hour policies and regulations and reports safety risks.
