The Kroger Co. is seeking a Seafood Associate in Oregon City, OR to prepare and display seafood items for sale according to company standards and procedures.

You will assist customers with quality foods and uphold food safety policies while representing our core values of respect and integrity. Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking and rotating seafood, monitoring temperatures, maintaining clean displays, operating the cash register, and ensuring compliance with health

• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, and bulletins.
• Multitask, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization.
• Personal initiative and follow through to completion.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in grocery retail, customer service, and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Wait on customers and provide high-quality foods promptly.
• Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Unload and store merchandise; prepare and display foods per recipes and policies.
• Perform required temperature monitoring.
• Monitor product quality; ensure freshness and safety.
• Keep sales areas, backrooms and coolers clean and organized.
• Keep carts, tools, equipment and supplies in their designated areas.
• Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils per policies and health regulations.
• Maintain signage, product rotation, and space allocation for merchandise.
• Maintain equipment and facilities safely per company policies.
• Adhere to company policies, laws, and health regulations.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
