Job summary

North Coast Seafoods seeks a Class A CDL Driver to operate 53-foot tractor trailers and straight trucks on interstate routes and city streets, delivering seafood to customers and assisting with airport pickups and transfers between company locations. The role requires DOT compliance and professional customer interaction.

This position is paid hourly with overtime eligibility and reports to the Logistics Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tractor trailer driving experience, verifiable.
• 1+ year of city driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Experience in food manufacturing; seafood or meat processing a plus.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Class A driver's license is required.
• Experience using hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to maintain a safe, high-performance workplace.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate openly.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53-foot tractor trailers.
• Inspect cargo loads to ensure proper packing.
• Deliver product to locations on scheduled routes.
• Ensure on-time delivery.
• Load and organize inventory from warehouse into vehicle and unload as needed.
• Follow road rules and safety requirements.
• Comply with company and state safety policies.
• Scan or record delivery confirmations upon arrival.
• Obtain customer signatures at delivery.
