Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado in Dallas is seeking a Seafood Clerk to prepare fish and seafood for sale by cutting, cleaning, and trimming.

You will work with the seafood team to maintain clean, organized displays, ensure proper labeling and rotation, and follow safety standards; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Education includes a High School Diploma or GED; prior seafood or meat department experience is a plus; readiness to lift up to 50 lbs and use knives safely is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in seafood/meat department is a plus
• Basic kitchen skills for seafood preparation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures area is clean, fish tanks are full and free of sleeper
• Ensures all products are properly signed and rotated
• Certifies products received throughout the day
• Washes all dishes and utensils thoroughly
• Other duties as assigned by management
