Responsibilities

• Oversee daily seafood department operations with a focus on customer service, freshness, and department readiness.
• Provide friendly, courteous and helpful service, and respond to customer requests and special orders.
• Coordinate training, scheduling and task assignment for seafood clerks to support department coverage.
• Execute merchandising programs, displays and pricing according to company guidelines.
• Prepare seafood items including cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling and stocking displays.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, including cases, prep areas and equipment.
• Monitor product freshness and remove unsellable or expired items.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels and receiving shipments to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Track and log required temperature checks for coolers and freezers.
• Maintain department signage and communication updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities
