Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily seafood department operations with focus on customer service, freshness, and readiness.
• Provide friendly, courteous service and respond to customer requests and special orders.
• Coordinate training, scheduling and task assignment for clerks to support coverage.
• Execute merchandising, displays and pricing per company guidelines.
• Prepare seafood items including cutting, weighing, wrapping, labeling and stocking displays.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, cases, prep areas and equipment.
• Monitor product freshness and remove unsellable or expired items.
• Manage ordering, inventory levels and receiving shipments for in-stock conditions.
• Track and log temperature checks for coolers and freezers.
• Maintain department signage and communication updates.
• Ensure compliance with policies, food safety requirements and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Seafood Department with a focus on customer service, freshness, and department readiness
