Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a store associate for Thorndale, PA. You will support receiving, stocking, pricing, labeling, and customer service while maintaining product knowledge and inventory control.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, following safety standards, and helping to execute weekly merchandising plans. This role requires the ability to work in a cold environment and to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Able to work in a cold environment.

• Must be able to use or learn the equipment used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, breakdown loads, and rotate cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label items.
• Stock cases and maintain inventory.
• Prepare valued added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service and product knowledge.
• Suggestive selling and product ordering.
• Reconcile invoices and execute weekly merchandise plans.
• Train team members and ensure sanitation and food safety standards.
• Handle service counter or special orders and production planning.
