Qualifications

• Experience serving the public in a retail setting.
• Ability to safely handle knives and seafood.
• Knowledge of seafood types, preparation and uses.
• Willingness to follow company standards for cutting and prep.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the seafood department and assist as needed.
• Service customers, weigh and price seafood items.
• Select and prepare items for the day, cutting filets, chunks and cubes.
• Tray, wrap, and price products per standards.
• Stock, rotate, and display seafood, remove damaged items.
• Display merchandise in the showcase per schematic instructions.
• Prepare poke and other seafood items from recipes.
• Clean department by washing and sanitizing tools and area.
• Keep seafood area organized and clean; maintain sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Seafood Manager.
