Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Dallas, TX is seeking a Seafood Clerk to join Store 077 Dallas Webb Chapel. You will provide friendly customer service, help set up and maintain the seafood displays, and assist customers with product information and pricing.

Requirements include bilingual Spanish/English communication, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and reliable, team-oriented work. This on-site position offers a fast-paced grocery environment and opportunities to grow with Fiesta Mart.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, the Seafood Clerk provides friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service. Assists the customers, sets up, maintains and cleans the seafood display cases. Cleans, fills and rotates the seafood displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged period of times.
• The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions include lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements. Reference the complete job description located in the store.
