Job summary

Uwajimaya is seeking a Seafood Clerk in Bellevue to deliver outstanding customer service while handling seafood preparation, weighing, labeling, and display. You will help maintain stock, ensure freshness, and support HACCP compliance in a fast-paced department.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Starting pay is $22.89 per hour, with a pay range of $22.89–$28.84.

They excel in accommodating customer requests for seafood preparation and cutting, demonstrating in-depth product knowledge, accuracy in pricing and weight, and providing valuable cooking technique recommendations.Position’s Key Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor.Prepare and display seafood attractively.Weigh, wrap, and label products accurately.Identify and handle various seafood types.Maintain optimal stock levels to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.Check for pull-dated and substandard items, ensuring freshness and quality meet standards.Monitor and maintain accurate signage; replace damaged or incorrect signs.Inspect and manage the seafood tank, adhering to the HACCP plan and health standards.Ensure the overall cleanliness of the Seafood Department, including display cases and shelves.Accurately receive incoming products.Other duties as assigned.Starting Pay: $22.89/hr., Depending on ExperiencePay Range: $22.89 – $28.84/hr.Uwajimaya participates in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
