Brookhaven Market in Arlington Heights, IL is looking for a full-time Seafood Clerk to keep the seafood counter running smoothly, ensuring customers leave with the right cut, the right portion, and a smile.

You’ll help customers choose seafood items, cut, wrap, and label cases, maintain freshness, follow food safety rules, and work with the team to meet daily demand. The role is onsite with evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

What You’ll Handle

Brookhaven Market is hiring a full-time Seafood Clerk (onsite) in Arlington Heights, IL, paying $16–$19/hour. This role exists to keep our seafood counter running smoothly—so customers leave with the right cut, the right portion, and a smile.

Key responsibilities include:

• Help customers choose meat/seafood items and share simple, spot‑on recommendations
• Cut, trim, wrap, and package products to customer specs
• Keep the case clean, organized, stocked, and clearly labeled/priced
• Support inventory basics: rotate product for freshness and assist with ordering
• Follow food safety and sanitation rules to protect quality and guests

What you’ll need:

• Meat/Seafood or food service experience preferred (not required)
• Strong attention to detail; comfortable following procedures
• Able to stand/walk during shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• Friendly communication; can work solo and with a team
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
