Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Excellence Senior Manager 3 in Roy, Utah to shape and support efforts that enhance program performance for the SDS Division, including the Sentinel program. You will leverage processes, tools, and coaching to develop PM capability and drive measurable results.

The role requires a DoD security clearance, significant program management experience, and the ability to travel up to 25% per month. A 9/80 schedule and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with 8 years of program management experience.
• Experience in program execution, EV management, change and risk management.
• Experience managing programs across multiple customers and lifecycle phases.
• Excellent briefing of executives and managing expectations.

Program Excellence Senior Manager 3 Position

The SDS Program Excellence Manager is responsible for shaping and supporting efforts to enhance program performance by leveraging processes, tools, coaching and PM Development resources across the SDS Division. This role will report into the SDS Program Excellence Director. The position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program

Responsibilities

• Transform and drive program execution rigor to enable sustainable, profitable growth and consistently execute commitments.
• Mitigate current and near-term programmatic risk while building long-term program excellence capability and culture.
• Develop world-class program managers by investing in tools, processes, knowledge, and skill building enabling results-driven decision-making.
• Operate as Independent oversight with implementation authority & process accountability.
• Develop and execute program manager evaluation and training programs spanning CAMs to senior director levels
• Support Sector initiatives and manage Sector Operating Goals
• Oversee IPRS (Intranet Program Review System) reporting on program performance, provide supporting data, and report on related corrective actions for SDS programs

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with 8 years of program management experience or Masters degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree
• Experience in program execution, earned value management, change management, risk management, and stakeholder management
• Experience managing projects / programs across with different customers across multiple phases of the program life cycle
• Experience briefing executives and managing expectations
• ability to travel up to 25% per month.
• Must have an active a U.S. Government DoD security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP)

Nice to Have

• Experience as a program manager or IPT lead in a development program
• Strong execution track record as a PM
• Experience managing people
• Experience in start up or recovery situations that required review and enhancement of metrics, processes, ops tempo, and decision making tools/products
• Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need

Salary and Compensation

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
