Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design, build, and maintain automated test platforms. You will own multi-module test infrastructure across API, browser, performance, and protocol testing, writing production-quality code to verify software systems.

You will collaborate with developers and stakeholders to detect issues early, contribute to shared libraries, and integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• Experience developing automated tests across API, UI, and performance domains.
• Strong communication and collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
• Ability to design multi-module test infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a multi-module test infrastructure spanning API, browser, performance, and protocol testing.
• Create and maintain automated functional, integration, system, regression, and performance tests.
• Develop reusable shared libraries and authentication clients used across test modules.
• Integrate tests with CI/CD, external test management, and defect tracking systems.
• Enforce production-grade engineering standards on test code and design.
• Collaborate on API contracts and observability from a testability perspective.
• Author CI/CD pipeline definitions that gate and report test results.
