Solve It Consultant is seeking an SDET to join remotely and contribute to automated testing across SAP and non-SAP systems. The role emphasizes building robust test frameworks, API and UI automation, and tight integration with CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate should be proficient in Java, Python, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, with strong SQL skills and experience validating SAP interfaces and data. Remote work with flexible IST hours is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

• Proficiency in at least one major programming language and test automation tooling within CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and API tests across web, backend, and SAP integrations.
• Develop API tests using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
• Build and maintain UI automation with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

• Analyze failures and collaborate with dev teams to resolve defects.

Position: SDET Software Development Engineer in Test

Work Model: Remote (WFH)

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop automated tests using Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Test web applications, APIs, backend services, and enterprise applications.
• Perform SAP application testing, including validation of SAP processes, interfaces, integrations, and data flows.
• Work with SAP teams to understand business processes and validate integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Validate SAP data and interfaces using SQL and database queries.
• Develop and execute automated API tests using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent.
• Build and maintain UI automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving application testability.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and testing documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall quality processes.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, SAP Consultants, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
• Support release validation and production readiness activities.

SAP Testing Experience

The candidate should have practical experience working with SAP applications and preferably exposure to:

• SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA
• SAP functional/business process testing
• SAP integration and interface testing
• SAP API/web-service testing
• SAP data validation
• SAP-to-non-SAP system integrations
• SQL/database validation
• SAP BW/BI integration testing is a plus
• Experience with SAP testing tools or frameworks is an advantage

SAP module experience in areas such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HR/HCM, or BW will be considered a strong advantage.
