Job summary

Annapurna Labs (a part of Amazon) is seeking a Software Development Engineer Intern in Seattle, WA. You will help build production software spanning low-level systems, compilers, and ML runtimes, while collaborating with hardware and systems teams to deliver features end-to-end.

You’ll be paired with a mentor to scope your project and grow your skills as you tackle challenging problems across ML workloads and hardware accelerators.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/CE or related field with a future graduation date.
• Programming experience in at least one modern language (C, C++, Python).
• Familiarity with operating systems, computer architecture, or systems programming.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to production software spanning from low-level systems to compilers and tooling.
• Write efficient, maintainable code in C/C++ or Python.
• Optimize software for custom hardware like Graviton/Trainium/Inferentia and debug across hardware-software boundary.
• Collaborate with hardware, compiler, and systems teams to deliver features end-to-end.
• Document work and present results to the team.
