Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring a Software Development Engineer in Minneapolis to own a major AAA component from design through build and daily operation.

You will help design, build, and operate critical security and access-management features in our network and management environments. You will drive improvements, reduce debt, and raise the bar for on-call practices, tooling, and incident response while collaborating with Network Development Engineers and operators.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own major AAA component: design, build and day-to-day operation.
• Invent and simplify: propose fixes beyond tickets and drive improvements.
• Drive operational excellence and on-call readiness across the team.
