Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build production-grade AI agents for Leo's network troubleshooting. You will design agentic systems on AWS, reason over satellite and network data, and collaborate with principal engineers and operators to ship reliable features.

The role emphasizes owning services in production, writing design docs, and participating in on-call and security reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate AI agents and services that diagnose network and connectivity issues using telemetry, logs, and engineering knowledge.
• Turn proven engineering tools and data sources into reusable agent tools for Leo teams.
• Build evaluation harnesses that measure agent accuracy, coverage, and latency, and use them to gate launches.
• Own services in production: on-call, operational metrics, root-cause analysis, and security reviews.
• Partner with principal engineers, operators, and program managers to turn ambiguous problems into shipped features.
• Write clear design docs, give thoughtful code reviews, and help teammates adopt agentic development practices.
