Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to advance Frameworks & AI/ML for Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems. You will build features across frameworks, API, UI and OS services, and integrate AI to improve quality and performance across iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV.

Collaborate with design, performance, security and privacy teams to deliver best-in-class connectivity. The role emphasizes ownership from concept to ship, with a strong focus on wireless tech and AI-driven

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Objective‑C/Swift, or C/C++.
• Deep OS understanding: processes, filesystems, memory management.
• Experience turning AI into smarter features.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP).
• GDB and shell scripting; excellent communicator.

Responsibilities

• Own features across stacks (Frameworks/APIs, UI, OS services, drivers) from concept to shipping.
• Integrate AI to improve features, fix bugs faster and boost productivity.
• Design and implement Wi‑Fi features across Apple devices (iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV).
• Collaborate with design, performance, security and privacy teams to balance trade-offs.
