The Sculpture Studio Technician oversees the daily operations of the Sculpture Studios within Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, ensuring spaces are organized, safe, and equitable for teaching, independent work, and research.

They work with faculty and the Director of Material Practice to adapt layouts, storage, and access to evolving needs in traditional and emerging sculpture practices, including laser cutting and CNC.

Qualifications

• Hands-on skill in sculpture studio operations and safety.
• Ability to plan and implement studio layouts and workflows.
• Provide training on materials, processes, and fabrication.
• Supervise student monitors and coordinate evening/weekend access.
