Virtua Health is seeking a Specialty Care Transport (SCT) Nurse to deliver care during patient transports between facilities. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs, while leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered service.
Required are NJ RN licensure, ACLS/PALS/CPR, and at least year of nursing experience, with ED/ICU background preferred. Strong critical thinking and safe transport practices are essential.
The role of the Specialty Care Transport (SCT) Nurse is to provide the required care during transport between designated facilities by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient’s needs during each encounter. The SCT Nurse demonstrates leadership by adhering to standards of patient care, providing the highest level of customer service and by directing the multidisciplinary patient care team. The SCT Nurse accepts the responsibility of creating an environment which promotes healing and wellness, demonstrated by delivery of positive patient and family-centered care services.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred.
ACLS, PALS, CPR certifications required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Valid driver’s license. Current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) required. Current CCRN certification or CEN certification preferred.
$60.05 - $60.05 Hourly
